Sennheiser HD 25's . They reject well, are very efficient and are light. Great for tracking drums and instruments. They even make a hardhat style basket (more money) so it can't slip off the head of those "animal" style drummers. Not great for vocals though, bass is pumped, and generally all closed can phones can make pitch control difficult when singing.

I use BeyerDynamic DT 770's, which, after wondering where to get them, I actually found, in stock, at my local Guitar Center for $200 - though I've seen them lately for $160 and GC will match legitimate offers they can confirm(Take your web site dealers addresses along with you, or call GC first - they will take the time to compare, call you back and let you know if you can pick them up for the price you saw elsewhere.). Some say these BD's, too are "bass heavy"? I have nothing to compare them with that's even close to their quality(Which is high). I use them for voiceover. I don't hear anything "extra" - bass-wise, compared to listening to the same things on my speakers. Light, yet well-built and firm-enough fitting, comfortable, wonderful clarity. I have not been this happy with any pair of phones(And I've used a few), since I bought my first pair of Koss Pro4AA's, in 1974..! Geez', I'm old...
