Hey this is my first post everyone.
Im new to the recording world and I just got an M Audio ProFire 2626 for my studio.
Do I need an internet connection on the computer Im using in order to obtain the software?
Is there a way to obtain the software on a computer without internet?

Keep your audio computer away from the internet if possible. Use the CD that came with the hardware to do the initial installation. On a different computer that has internet connection, download the latest drivers from the M-Audio site and copy them on to a USB pen drive. Take the USB drive to your audio computer and update the drivers from it.
