Look for places that sell old serial computer cables. Watch they don't try to sell you the M/F extension.

Click the "All Lengths" tab for more of this cable. Whatever length you think you need to the BRC.

And here are some shorties for jumping one machine to the next in the rack.

Standard serial cables will not work correctly. The ADAT sync cable has two male DB9 connectors and is required to be wired with 4 twisted pairs. If you need a cable longer than about 0.5m, is is best to get the type that has individual screens round each pair to avoid digital crosstalk. Note that the overall screen is grounded to the connector shell at one end only so there is no continuity between the two shells. The grounded end should go to the SYNC OUT connector. However, on later HD24s, the chassis-mounted female SYNC IN connector is fitted without a shell to allow the use of cables having ground continuity.

Hosa ADAT sync cables are double-screened and work well. Assuming you are located in the US (can't it be made mandatory on RO to supply a location?), [="http://www.avalive.com/Hosa-Cables/CMT-410/50440/productDetail.php"]AV Alive[/]="http://www.avalive…"]AV Alive[/] or [[url=http://="http://www.bananasm…"]Bananas At Large[/]="http://www.bananasm…"]Bananas At Large[/] stock them in various lengths.
