Hi guys, I just bought this card about three weeks ago, and I had it working fine in my old computer, and AMD 300mhz k6-2. This past weekend, I upgraded to a faster 900mhz Athlon and I am having problems getting it to work. But I am a tenacious little bastard, so I know that I will get it working eventually.
My question is what do you guys use for midi I/O with this card, and which Audio programs are you using(cakewalk, Cubase, Logic, etc..) I am thinking about going with Cubase, to experiment with the virtual instruments and so on. What do you think?

I also have had good luck using an SB LIVE! audio card for MIDI although any soundcard that the core2 "tolerates" in the same pc system should allow MIDI I/O (via the infamous joystick breakout box(apply as needed)). also rumors have it that USB MIDI interfaces will work to!
(i must admit i do and would rather use a MIDI interface that can use a serial(COM)port. these MIDI "boxes" can also offer SMPTE read and write which is another great "sync"ing scheme. be wary of "overloading" the USB port and robbing the core2 of valuable PCI resources)

hope this has helped
