I'm having trouble getting any sound out of a PreSonus Firebox. This is probably due to some wrong setting. I'm using the Cubebase LE that came with the box. I have the main outs 1/2 connected to an amplifier , but cannot get anything out when playing a project. I have a microphone connected into the 1st input and can get sound at the amplifier through the microphone, just not when playiing via software in Cubebase. I can see activity on the output mixer and is set to 1/2. Can anyone give me any advice on what I'm doing wrong.
Apparently I don't have something turned on or mapped correctly.

I had this problem at first, then I realized the problem of "direct monitoring" your monitors should be connected directly to your Firebox. If you haven't connected your monitors to your firebox, chances are it wont play back unless you go to the preferences/options or whatever in Cubase LE, tell it that its main output or whatever is your computers sound card. I dont know the specifics but I think that might help you.
