After bouncing a file out of PT I tried playing it back through WinAmp, iTunes and Encore. Through any source besides Pro Tools, the sounds is played back fast. I've tried different sample rats and formats, but after it's bounced, it always plays back fast.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Aaron

Are you using any external digital clocks?? Digimax LT etc.. You may have a digital clock problem. If you have any external clocks feeding PT you can be misled by your session data. For instance if you create a 48 khz session set to an external clock but accidently feed it 44.1 k it will say its a 48 session but it is actually at 44.1khz. So at this point it sounds fine in protools but a bounce and convert to CD will result in your material playing back to fast. If you reset to the internal PT clock it will probably speed up in Protools too. To get out of your current problem just mix with current settings digitally to a 44.1 dat and then re-import the converted mix digitally to burn your CDs. If digital won't work use analog. Good Luck!
