Hello I am new to the forum, i think this site is great.
I am using my house for a recording studio, I have my mac in the basement and i do most of my tracking in my living room. I am using a snake to do this. Do you think i am loosing any of my signal or quality? Anyone?
I run (drums mostly) thru an old snake from the 80's or thru a P
I run (drums mostly) thru an old snake from the 80's or thru a PROEL 8 ch snake. For overdubs or when going to my nice pres I bypass the snake. Does it effect the sound? I can't hear it at this point BUT I hear a little more every day. So, perhaps someday I will notice a difference. You could always buy bulk cable and connectors and make your own "snake" Use hi grade parts.
