What you need is a hardware based compressor/limiter when you track your vocals. What kind? Just about any kind, optical, VCA, Digital, etc.. Since you have a tascam us-122, along with its 2 XLR Phantom powered microphone inputs, it offers "inserts", which is where you will patch your compressor/limiter into. It is usually accomplished with a simple 1/4" TRS to 2, 1/4" TS connectors which serve as the inputs and outputs to the compressor/limiter.

Try starting with settings that look like this:

Ratio 2: 1 to 8: 1 depending on the severity of the singer.
Threshold, when adjusted should show you a "gain reduction" of from 2 to 15 DB depending on the severity of the singer. Sometimes more. Sometimes less.
Output should be adjusted to "make up" for whatever gain reduction the compressor creates i.e., you'll most likely turn up the output by a similar amount to the gain reduction, such as 10 DB of gain reduction may very well require 10 DB of output makeup gain for a proper recording level.
Most compressor/limiters have both automatic and manual attack and release settings. For most applications, the automatic settings sound nice. Manual settings can further modify and Taylor how the compressor/limiter sounds. Faster attacks usually lead to a more squashed sound without any peaks getting through, whereas faster releases, create greater "apparent loudness" until things start to sound ratty (like highly competitive radio stations), which is generally excessive.

Know all you need is a couple hundred more dollars to go out and get one.

Actually, I just listened to your file/song/rap?? Truly a work of great intellectual genius! LOL!

Might I suggest, next time, you create a tempo for your self in your head or tapping your foot and slowdown.

You are definitely overloading the TASCAM US 122, you have to back down the gain. I know your software has a level indicator and when you see the red peak lights come on, just remember, "peak" does not mean it's at its best as it means in other usages in English-language if that is what you are speaking? Some of the awfulness that you hear is because you are turned up too loud which brings up all of that nasty room sound along with the peak overload distortion.

Since you are obviously a talented wordsmith, might I suggest you come up with something that is more topical in nature instead of trying to be the make pretend GANGSTA' which is getting kind of tired these days. There is enough crap going on in the world that you should be worrying about other things like sex and drugs and stop the war like we did back in the 1970s. That might actually accomplish something for you? Otherwise, you will appear as common as the rest which has already been done at nauseam. If you just want to talk some sh*t, why not try phone sex?? Where all you'll need is a telephone!
