New website - feedback requested
Forums
We're in the last stages of releasing a new website for our 10 year anniversary and wanted to get some feedback from other audio professionals before going live with it.
Please PM me if you're interested in having a look, as it's on a test server.
Cheers,
Thor

M/S Mastering.
Forums
Hi, my name is Jorge Carvalho, i'm a student at School of Arts from Catholic University of Porto.
I'm doing my master's degree in Sound Design. My dissertation is about the M/S Mastering Technique, and if you are a master engineer, i like to make if possible a few questions regarding this method.
Is very simple, click on the link to go to a little survey on google docs.

Looking for someone to master my track (Dubstep)
Forums
I am a novice producer(been producing for about 5 months). I just completed my second track EVER and wanted it to sound good. I did my best at mixing my song...the waveform looks nice and even.
My first attempt at DIY mastering
Forums
Hey guys,
This is a song I produced, engineered, mixed etc myself. Now I am mastering it. It's my first time trying to master myself, so I am looking for some feedback.

Internal - external HD for recording
Forums
Dear members,
my question is:
when you create a new recording-session on your multitrack, do you usually save it (and record) on the HD of your computer or on external HD (someone has told me that an external HD is faster and lighter than the one of the computer)?
Thank you in advance.
Giuseppe

In need of some advice
Forums
When mixing my projects, the overall quality sounds great. But when i bounce it out, it seems like its being over compressed and i am losing the dynamics to the mix. Everything gets really quiet and fuzzy. I have tried different bit ratios and i can't really tell a difference in them. I loose the punch of the kick drum and the snare drum and the vocals seem to duck under the mix.

No, today, my question is: Why are THEY so freakin' loud that they're over ZERO and into the red?
T-Racks - good better best?
Forums
Surfing around I found a thread about mastering with T-Racks. I've never heard of it:confused: I'm thinking, wow, I've got to check this out, maybe I'm missing the magic glue, fairy dust or something.
Love the pictures of all those plugins. They sure look like the real deal.
