I'm again in a quest to buying new gear and again with a restricted budget.. lol

I mostly record vocal with one of my LA-610 mainly because of the dynamic nature and potential unusable recordings without having a compressor in the way in.
I'd like to have a different flavor by using at least one of my ISA preamps with an external compressor.

Just wondering which web browser you all are using? Ive been using Firefox for a few months on my w10home tablet, and there seems to be Firefox updates too often for my liking. So far it's the only program persisting on updates, so I'm looking for something else.

I'm currently a student and I would like to start gaining feedback and start networking within the industry. If you could take a few minutes out of your day to look at the work i'm currently doing and give some feedback that would be greatly appreciated.

Akai go standalone with the brand new MPC Live. the control layout is exactly the same as last year’s MPC Touch controller/interface, with a seven-inch full-colour multi-touch display, 16 backlit pads, four rotary encoders and a master encoder knob. The big difference is stand-alone operation, with 2GB of sampling RAM and 16GB of on-board storage.

Ok so compared to the last mix I made, I feel I did better. Better being the keyword here. I still feel like I'm missing a lot. I tried to get a good balance but everything feels like it gets in the way of each other? Tried taking out some low end on the guitars to make room for the kick and bass, that seemed to work.

Hello :-) so I'm recording the vocals for my song and I noticed some clipping on loud parts. The strange thing here is that when I solo the vocal track the clipping is gone, completely nonexistent. And it doesn't look red on the waveform. But when the piano is unmute it, the clipping is audibly present, but no red Signal.

Hey I'm looking to pull the trigger on some conversion for my living room setup. A couple high quality channels fits the needs, and around 1k is the most I'm looking to put into this one. I'm basically gonna track ideas via an eleven rack, and archive all my old stuff with this setup getting it ready for the new custom computer and 384k+ capable conversion.

I just grabbed an USB Condenser Mic for Podcasting. STRANGE! Input Level was so HIGH, peaked though I just turn the input level to 1/10 !

Need your help... what should I do? Is it Mic Faulty? Or...
