Has anyone tried to use a Pro Tools Mix system
on a PC with XP installed? Digidesign says that they have come across no problems yet, but they haven't finished testing. Any info would be cool. Thanks

i finally got reason to load with cubase, but now the reason devices dont show up in the midi output window to be selected for routing.

does anyone possibly know what i should be checking out?

i get reason to play through cubase, but i cant trigger anything via my midi keyboard.

very annoying considering i've been at this for months now.

Ok folks, how did you achieve the fastest speed in rendering?

Did you do it by SCSI interface?(ie faster HD)
Ram amount (i/e going from 512M to 2048M?
Prosessor Power 400 celeron VS 1g celeron VS P4 2G processor and above?

How did you speed up you rendering of edits!(?)

I'm just getting started with my little project studio and while I have a PC, It is only a Celeron 667 MHz processor. It has 512 Mb RAM capability but I still think it needs more. My only concern is that the computer is a Hewlitt-Packard assembly-line jobby and I'm skeptical of the prospects of finding a P4 board that is the same size and that will fit into my current housing (tower style).

Is anyone out there familiar with the Lexicon Opus Digital Workstation that the Lexicon people made circa 1988?
