" I need some advice about my system"
Hello everyone I have a couple of questions. Let's just say that over the last 3 years I have been screwed with a sandpaper condom more than once when it comes to purchasing audio computers. All I ever wanted to do is create music but with all the money I have spent and time invested I am losing my creative desire. I have had my current system rebuilt 2 times and this is about to be my 3rd.

S. Twain's new single
Does anyone have any facts about
Mutt and Shaina's new single: what mic used, did they use auto-tune, etc. She doesn't need much help to get a great vocal track but it sounds a llittle more processed than normal.

Novice Issues...V-drum and MIDI in Cubase SL...problem h
--I was playing back a sequence that I made from the drum editor on Cubase SL last night and realized that the hi-hat events weren't excactly as I planned. Even though I intended this particular part to play an open hihat, the sound came out as a closed hihat. But what's even more confusing was that just a measure earlier it was playing the open hi-hat as intended.
liteon CD-RW's
hey, anyone out there have any experience with the liteon CD-RW's (good, bad or indifferent)? any recommendations of particular models. it seems that some of our favorite online vendors (newEgg, googlegear, mwave) are highlighting the Liteon LTR-40125S 40x12x48. just thought i'd do a little poll here. it will get utilized so i want it to be reliable and durable.

What about the future for Logic?
I’ve been dumped… by Logic.
It’s a sad story… I really love Logic and I’m also a true PC-lover.
I started in the 80’s with an Atari and KCS, C-Lab, Notator, and later
with the first Logic. Now I’ve been working in the studio with Logic
on a Mac a few years… and a little bit at home on my PC .

swiss army preamps
boys!
anus australian chapter here.
actually, DAW is going well. it's going to be a very credible sounding demo CD when i've finished.
anywue, i would benefit from a nice sounding multi function mic preamp i.e with compressor and maybe simple EQ, phantom power, guitar input as well as XLR. i know they exist but what's the wheat from the chaff?
