Daniel...TM-D1000 or 428?
Daniel,
What can the 428 or 224 do that the TM-D1000 can't? I've had the TM-D1000 for a couple of years and it is excellent. I added the PCI-822 in October. After the good drivers came out, I haven't had a problem. I do most of my tweaking in Sonar. So what is all the hype about?

New guy needs a little help.
Hello, how do I create continuous audio files in Nuendo by way of consolidating each audio track into a single file, so that I can then import those tracks in to Pro-Tools.
I have 5 projects on Nuendo that I would like to mix in Pro-tools. Thanks : )

summer heat
its gonna be a hot summer.. and was wondering how you guys keep your control rooms temp down? I have no AC. and between the amps, the computers/monitors, it gets rather hot. I am thinking of moving everything downstairs to the cramped and dark room down there this year..

MIDI and the P4b266(ANUS)
has anybody used the onboard MIDI of the P4B266? i've got the midisport usb 1X1 because i thought that was all i would need. as it turns out the midi out on the line6 POD's doesn't seem to work like a midi thru. i'm going to try and contact line6 support on this.

noisy plextor!
Hey ANUS Heads!
I got my Australian ANUS going (with XP Pro). Bloody beauty mate! Have not rigged up the Tascam US428 yet but that is on the agenda. Picked up a RODE condenser mic yesterday! However. the PLEXTOR burner sounds like a 747 on take-off. Not an issue as such but it is incredibly annoying. Any ideas for muffling this noise?

Tempo-Stretching MIDI?
OK...I guess I have finally made it into the 80's, and have acutally started recording some MIDI information! I have always been an "audio-guy", and have never really delved into this really cool world of VSTi's and MIDI keyboards (I am a guitarist who plays some piano).

Classical Guitar Mics
Just heard the Royer Labs demo CD, and I must say that the Schoeps 221B mic sounded SWEET on classical guitar! I couldn't find it for sale anywhere (I guess cause it's old), but on the Schoeps website directxfiles.com, it said that they have a NEW "improved" version called the M 222 B. Does it really sound as good as the 221?
