Recently put together the following:
Asus P4B266, PIV 1.6, 512 ram, two Deskstar HDs and Win2000 SP2.

Once in a while the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then - Reboot.
Doesn't seem to be related to what I was doing. It has done it while running Sound Diver, Sonar or just on the internet.

Thoughts?

Did you stop using it because you had no need for it or you weren't happy with it..

I've ordered SampleCell II Plus card through some friends in the US who are over in 3 weeks ($199 from the digistore: $227 inc shipping) they've got it now so i'll just be waiting until they come over to get it.. I'll be using it instead of an S2000 in my PC 001 setup. Hopefully ;)

When I use to do 30 hours, running/week of Vox...the producers has so many formats.

1 Scratch, then punches.
2 Do it 20 times...each line. We will cut best.
3 Strait up, then next track.
4.Keep and reap.
5.Rape and pilage.

O.K., I kinda have the hang of mixing (at leat I understand the principles of it) and I get pretty decent mixes. But now I need to learn how do mastering, but other than making my CDs louder and having that punch that commercial CDs have, I'm not even sure what I should be really be looking for, what I should be useing, the whole thing. Is there any online tutorials I should check out?

Fairlight Australia dropped a Satellite System off at my place yesterday for me to have a demo. Their Sales Manager, Graeme Whineray is coming round today to show me through it. i am going to install my delta66 into the new asusp4b533. Does it make a difference which pci slot i use? This will be the only pci slot i'll be using.

I don't know much about IRQ's, and i want the absolute most performance i can get.

Hi l'm a guitarist who is recording stuff on his computer through pro tools free and l need some drums to go with it.

l have some really cool drum loops which came with guitar tracks in a program called drag and drop drummer. These loops are quantitised and l simply loop them over and they are really good quality.

I need advice on web creation tools. This is all new to me. I registered three domain names at godaddy.com Then I got in on a hosting deal that was posted at anandtech. 110Mb space, 6Gb month transfer for $3.90 year. I bought 5 of these hosting plans for $19.50 ! Two for me, one for the wife one for each kid. (Talk about your go daddys!) I don't know WTF I'm doin, but it sounds like fun.
