Concept of reducing latency by hardware monitering,,,
Greetings,
one thing i have never quite understood is the concept of reduring the latency you hear (through headphones i would assume) when overubbing onto a whole lotta tracks. obviously the computer has to do a lot of stuff to kee up with the info flow..but i am trying to get my head around the hardware fix.

Native tools
I just saw the add for native tools in the latest issue of EQ. Nuendo packaged with Apogee a/d16 and d/a 16. I thought it was pretty similar to what opus used. I thought he used an Apogeeof some sort as an A to D converter. Maybe I was wrong about that.

***THE FINAL BUILD***
I ordered my graphics card this morning. After much consideration, I decided on the MSI GeForce4 MX460. With the long weekend upon us, I'm hoping they get it shipped-out today.
I have all of my other components sitting here. I'll put them back in the case this weekend. So when the graphics card gets here, all I have to do is plug it in, and I'll be ready to rock.

and the Delta 1010. Please give me some feedback! What do you think? Whichone sounds best in your opinion?
