weird fuse problem
this question is for people with some electrical knowldge. I have a Marshall JCM800, and the fuse broke down, so I bouth a pack of 3 fuses, each is 1amp, like the Marshall requires. I replaced the bad fuse, and the new one broke down five minutes later, playing at mid level, when I replaced it, i broke again, and again... I need help, why is this happening?

Need you to bail my ass out again jon best! haha
Sorry about posting here, it's just that the last thing I have to decide on buying is my mic preamps. I am really leaning towards the Great River pre's, but I didn't know which one was the best to buy?
Help me find a mic!
Hi I'm new here, but you guys seem really helpful so here goes.
I'm looking for a mic to use in my home studio. Right now I have an AT4050 which I like, but I'm in the market for something a little better. The mic will be used mainly to record my voice and some acoustic guitars.

Best way to load Akai dpsi12 into Digi001?
Is there a translator that would help me to load all tracks into oo1 without doing it via midi+loading one track at a time. I am using the Akai for remote live recordings and would love to edit in my PC pent111 1ghz digi 001. thanks for any suggestions.

Roland DS 90 digital monitors
Anyone got an opinion on these monitors? Local GuitarCenter just got a trade in set and can get em for $500 (pair). Have digital, analog, and optical inputs.
So...anyone got some input?
Thanks much.

PC BOOST/SMK/Allstar Components *BEWARE*
I've just had an EXTREMELY bad experience with PC BOOST/SMK/Allstar Components (all one in the same company). You should all be aware of this and DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. The email that I just sent to them is self-explainatory, so here it is...

I think I have some advice...
So I've been at this recording thing for about 3 years now and am still quite inexperienced when it comes to working in a big studio with a big console but I've learned a lot (A LOT) over this period of time on my own. I even had a 6 month internship in Boston during which time, I had to extract knowledge myself rather than be taught directly.

Bert, 'snu?
Hey Bert - I'm still looking for that non-existent PCI interface for TDIF-2, so I can interface my DM-24 with a DAW at high sample rates. I thought I had it nailed with the RME stuff, til a couple of days ago when Jace at Tascam said they weren't compatible - Do you know if the Mackie shakeup has (or will) bring a possible Mixtreme II that will do this?

Daniel, I'm desperate...
Hey Daniel, I've just got off the Tascam DM-24 forum after trying to smooth ruffled feathers with Jace, so rather than bother him with this I thought I'd try first here - We were discussing outside makers of PCI interface cards, with absolutely ZERO success in reaching a solution for 96k TDIF2 interfaces.
