Radarlink between my RII and R24 is great,
recording and editing feels like having a 48 track machine . But why can't I type tracknames 25-48 on the Session Contr.? (only in Radarlink solomode)
Also 'shutdown Radar' could be 'shutdown RadarS' in Radarlink.

Despite some very good advice from a highly-regarded member of this and other recording forums to go digital all the way (right now I have a single ADAT with analog console and mixture of analog and digital outborad units), I feel a visceral need to have an analog tape deck.

Has anyone tried the Dan Alexander or the Brent Averill Neve design preamps (or others)?

I would like to share you all of you what I've learne so far during teh last 2 weeks.
I've recorded a couple complete albums, 6 songs each, more of an EP than an album, completely on 2" 24trk.
After that we decided to bump everyhting on a DAW: MAC G4 with a MOTU setup.

AMD Athlon T-Bird 1.5Gb with Iwill KA266 mobo.
Any known issues with this mobo?
Matrox G450 32Mb video card...any issues?
Diamond Multimedia Supramax modem...USB or PCI?
CD-RW questions...hmmm...to SCSI or not to SCSI...
thinking Plexiwriter PX-W1210TSE/SW, but would an Adaptec 39160 or an Iwill DU3160 be better with it?
