It is a canvas where you start working quickly on professionally produced projects.
It is a very good educational tool; it can also be used as an inspiration to create new material.

It would be great to get some feedback on my mixes from some experienced ears.

How's the mastering? Do you like it?

Just wondering if there are any other Reason 7 users out there and if so if you are mastering ITB with reason 7. Because of the new SSL mixer and all the new rack extensions, plus the mastering suite, I think it's possible to get a sellable master out of reason without any external hardware.

Hey all I just wanted to start a fun thread about some of the more off the wall gear we've used in the past and got great results from. Could be old pro stuff or whatever, but I'm constantly rigging stuff up to get different sounds or try something new to get new sounds in my recordings.

The original/studio project that I am involved with recently put together a few 'videos' for some of the songs that we have released from our debut CD. Everything was recorded in my home studio (mastering was done elsewhere).

My dilemna is this: I'm working on a project I am very excited about. I have a world-class singer I am collaborating with in a new band. So far it's just me and him.

Anyway, we are pressing ahead with making a CD. I've got the tracks done, and am waiting to schedule the vocal sessions.

Hey everyone.

I understand that making (good) harmonies takes some effort. Groups like Modern Talking or Queen inspire me to play around a bit with vocal harmonies.
Now, I tried doing it the manual way, but I was not too successful.
Are there any plugins that will take a vocal track and make harmonies out of it?

I recently picked up a M-Audio Mobile USB Pre device from a local individual. It came with a driver disk but I had to download the latest drive from their website to work with Windows 7. Now my question is, what software (free preferably) can I use to play my guitar and record?
