Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knows how to work this out.. I'm currently running Reason in ReWire mode through DP. But what I want to do is use some of the signal processing that Reason has to offer, but no Reason channels appear in the outputs available for DP, only in the inputs. So, does anybody know how I would have to go about this?

I'm trying to do my first mixing project with a bunch of tracks I've just recorded. I recorded some bass tracks four different ways to let me choose/create the best sound later and now would love some advice.

I have had an increasing problem with tracks in Pro Tools being delayed by about 20-30ms after being recorded. Its almost hard to even notice sometimes, it just sounds like the singer was tired. This is completely random, but seems to happen on some projects more than others. Has anyone else ever seen this?

Okay so I opened up logic studio to my project which consists of 8 different songs (I know, risky but it saves time and is more efficient when writing). Something went terribly terribly wrong...

It seems we all have an interest in recording, that is something that unites us to this forum.

IK Multimedia is having a really nice group buy on their T-racks singles plugins and I was just wondering if anyone here ad any opinions on them. I run Cubase 4 and mainly use the supplied eqs and compressors but also use Voxengo's Voxformer, Blockfish, and Ozone 3. My next logocal purchase was going to be either a UAD card or the Waves SSL 4000 suite.

I own a small audio research lab and I need to mix multiple stereo wave files that have been recorded onto my DAW with Cool Edit Pro. What I need is a 12-16 track mixer or mixer recorder with USB or Firewire connectivity and an on board hard drive so multiple stereo wave tracks can be mixed into a stereo wave master and then returned to the DAW.

PROS DONT KILL ME! just asking for some input/opinions.

I'm using an emu 1212M audio interface, windows XP SP3. i use outboard compressors, eq's, and gates, and effects. the most VST plugins i would use are maybe some odd effects here and there and drum and bass VSTI's.

I'm recording both single tracks one at a time and bands playing together all at once.

I'm doing my own mastering for a demo using the UAD set of mastering plugs. I'm wondering if there's any disadvantage to loading the master channel of a song's DAW session with the mastering suite, getting the sound I like, and bouncing the final from there vs bouncing the mix to a stereo track and mastering the bounce.
