I aint got Studio Headphones and monitors,

so whats the best way to mix?
cuz everytime i record something it sounds good at my side but
when i givit to somone else the vocals example are to low for the beat etc

SOO any ideas on how to mix without the studio headphones?

So, I'm new to tubes, but I'll be replacing the 12AX7 tubes in my Aphex 107 preamp with 12AT7's. I have read on here that they were originally supposed to be in there and the unit performs better with them.

after re booting my laptop to windows 7 and re installed pro tools and finally reason after so much trouble before i rebooted my laptop,but at last i got it installed with no problems,,,,but 1 that is probably a simple solution which hopefully you's can help with

I have done quite a bit of research on this piece and even though it is renown for it's horrible Auto-Revers mechanisms, I still wonder if it would be a good piece for me to start out my venture of analog recordings.

I've had my eyes on the Cabulator for almost a year. SPL is going to be at AES booth 361. If anyone has the opportunity to try this at the show or other SPL products like their Rack Pack stuff ... Please chime in.

I'm looking for a decent pair of ear phones for commuting purposes: I like to listen to my recent mixes while relaxing on a train. I just bought a pair of Klipsch S4 but have to take them back as I didn't like the highs of them (they were very good up to about 5kHz, but above that just metallic sizzle that colours the sound badly).
