I own Guitar Rig 3 and Amplitube. Not satisfied with any of the sounds. Ive also built a dummy load box so i can run a line from my Orange heads into a 4x12 simulator and then into my interface for silent recording... And still not happy haha.

So.. Is there any other programs or Preamps you guys would suggest? Ive looked at the ENGL and Mesa Recording preamps.

I bought the program and when I tried to install it is said Invalid serial number. This is new out of the box using the s/n it came with. I have emailed cakewalk and still no answer 2 days later. Is it possible I'm entering it wrong?

I always find mixing duets quite difficult, the difficulty I have being that whatever I seem to do, I can never get the two vocals at exactly the same level - any handy hints and tips?

Mod, please move if this belongs in a different forum. It is budget gear, but the principle still remains behind it. I am sure some other high-end pieces have the same option I am talking about.

HI, i have a question. Im trying to hook up a Mackie control with nuendo and i've done everything the manual says, and i still couldn t make it work. Im using a Digi 002, and Mackie control works fine with Pro Tools. Did anyone had the same problem? Is there anything I'm missing?

I recently set up my studio again and lost Cubase le that came with my omega interface. A buddy of mine got a mac so he had a brand new copy of cakewalk Sonar le. I installed it but a message about the drivers not being compatible or being used by another program popped up. I still haven't figured out how to set it up right. Anyone got any ideas?

I'm running Pro Tools 8 Le through a Digi 002 rack and I am currently using the stock reverb plugins. Mostly doing jazz, folk, alt-country, etc. I tend to use setting tweaked from medium room or plate reverb presets. I rarely use settings with very long tails. I don't use it heavily, but it gets used all on about every recording.

I'm trying to record my mic'd guitar in Cubase LE 4 using the Firepod as my audio interface, but I can't get it to work. I went in and activated the PreSonus ASIO Driver, then set up an input bus (stereo, ln1/ln2 left for the left channel, ln1/ln2 right for the right channel), then assigned those inputs to the audio track.

Does anyone know if the PreSonus firebox can be used on a computer without installing the software?
