I was sure pc was 4 me especially since my last studio which ive been in 4 8yrs is pc based but i came across a couple of engineers who told me that pc based protool le has a lot of bugs and just overall i will come across a lot of problems on the pc.

I am using cakewalk home studio 2002 to record my guitar through a microphone that is plugged directly into the sound card in back of my pc and there is some sort of problem because when I play the track back the pitch and tempo of the guitar is distorted. I recorded a short 50 second track and made it into an mp3 file so you can hear what I am talking about.

can someone please go over the process of sampling a room to use in a reverb program like WavesIR-1? Step by step, maybe?
