I am interested in this for re-amping jazz guitar (archtop). I DI with an Avalon U5 and use a reflexion filter with mic to mic up the guitar acoustically. I like the idea of not having an amp in the same room so I can record the pure sound of my archtop although would like to add my Polytone miced up into the mix.

1. What do you think it is aesthetic of live mixing?
2. What are things you must do in order to get great live sound?
3. Live VS Studio

Is there a difference in the way these two sound? What is the difference between them?

We just got a Mac Pro on the studio with Logic Pro 8 as well!

And I must admit. Its really a very cool appz and the interface, the way the program handles with audio its just amazing

Oxford plugins before in a Windows XP pc

Hi, I recently bought the Antares AVP-1

Only to discover that there were no XLR inputs.

I was wondering how you would use this for live shows for that was the reason I bought it.

hello, i made a post in the "recording forum" about my ILOK experience, and lets say, i'm not too happy with it.

so I'm wondering what everyone recommends for a good quality plugins that DONOT USE AN ILOK, Here's what i'm looking for:

EQ up to 6 bands
Compressor
gate
usable reverb
and a limiter.
