I have bought an M-Audio Delta44 to use with Cubase to increase recording clarity/headroom etc. I assumed the best setting then was to record at 96k/24 bit as per the spec of the card.
To maximise quality in clean tracks and resolution of reverb plugins (which still sound muddy) should I be using 32bit float?

Hey i was wondering, would it be possible to use Cubase sx and then mix in Pro Tools le. cant u transport the files between the two using omf?

Using any version of Cubase SX and Waves Qn (also some other plugs) on a track, it kills Cubase - it stops playing, and a strange sound is heard. Also, the output meter shows 600dB something. Have any of you had this problem?

When installing a plugin do I want to download the Audio Units or VST version first off. also then after installing...when I am in Pro Tools how do I go and select that plugin to show up under AudioSuite. So AudioUnits or VST and then how do I get them to show up in Pro Tools.
