Ok here's the deal. I'm looking to improve my vocal chain (as usual, it's a sickness!) I'm working with an Audio-Technica 4060 into an ISA 428, to RME ADI-8 for conversion.

When adding reverb is the waveform suppose to shrink...when i add any reverb in pro tools with D-Verb I am using Small Plate and 20 percent mix and the waveform shrinks a lot in size. is this suppose to happen

I was wondering, is there any difference in sound quality between Pro Tools le and Cubase sx3. .i know that an individual should chose a software that he or she is comfortable with, but I'm curious to know if the digi 002 firewire is any different from an onyx firewire setup..isn't the sound quality the same?

Hey this is sam. I put up a post before because I didn't know what is wrong with my audio unit matrix reverb settings because I jost thm all the ttime.

I finally found a friend with a real component stereo type cassette player; the line out is not amplified. So now I can plug the line out into the mic jack on his laptop and make a recording of what's on the cassette. I am using the latest version of Audacity.

I have two audio tracks.. Appox 3min worth. I set the locators to encompass the area I won't mixed down.

I click on file > export > audio mixdown

Set all the settings, file name, wave / uncompressed, check effects, stereo interleaved, 16bit, 44.100khz

Does anyone know of a plugin hum eliminator for cubase?
I know that Pro Tools has one, I think it's called the
Hum Detective. I tried Googling, but couldn't find anything.
