ok, i finally ordered my MOTU 24IO for my MAC G-5 Running Logic Pro 6. i've got 512megs RAM. Does anyone know how many tracks i will be able to record simultaneously without problems? i'd like to do the whole 24 Bit 96khz. and i'm probably looking at recording between 12-20 tracks at a time,, anyone been in this scenario and have any advice? am i going to need more ram to do this?

I have a brand new Pro Tools LE 6.7 on a G5 with Mac OS10. I need advice on which eq, dynamics and reverb plugins to buy among the ones listed below. Or alternative ones.

My nuendo 9652 sound card only has digital outs for monitoring. Can run my Nuendo card through my old gina card breakout box to convert my signal to analog so I can monitor in in analog form.

i ordered a 10uF polypropylene cap, but the one i received says 1.0uF

1.0uF is not 10uF. right? . or is it? i'm a little confused

how shoul di conect the Digidesign 888 interface to my g4 laptop? the interface has a pci cable same as the 192 i/o interface but i dotn no how to conect it. is there a pci/firewire converter or external pci card i could get?

I tend to use fruity loops to compose beats but i rather have a feeling that recording live insruments is better idont know actually I'm confused can someo0ne help :roll: :

My recording software is limited only allowing 4 directX audio processing plugins per track.
I often need more then that.
I have seen shareware rack sets that provide multiple processors in a rack that will only use one DirectX window but these are limited and flaky and dont save setups.
