O1V O3D

I am planning to bay an digital mixer.

I can get an O1V or an O3D (Yamaha) voor de same price (1000 euro including an ADAT interface)

What is the best choise?

The O1V has more mic inputs and direct controlers for EQ etc.
The O3D has better sounding preamps , the connections on the back and more outputs.

Recommendations on software vs. . rack gear for voice?

I was all set to plunk down my credit card down on a Focusrite Voicemaster Pro . . . but then got to thinking: Adobe Audition (the sequencer I'm using) has a compressor, de-esser, expander, EQ, reverb, and even plugin tube effects in software (all of which can be saved as an "effects rack"), why would I want the VM Pro instead of Audition with a simple (but good) pre and an interface card?

Change speed and pitch in Pro Tools?

I've got a Digi 002 and I want to use this piece of sampled music as an intro for my band when we play live. I already imported it in Pro Tools and spliced it up the way I want it. Here's my problem, I need to slow it down slightly to match the speed of our first song, and I also need to bump it up a half step in pitch. Anybody know how I can accomplish this?
