What do people think about this product? I am getting mixed reviews on it. I am thinking about this or the RNC. Help! Which one should I get? I will be using it on everything from vocals, *****, acoustic instruments.

What piece of outboard gear do you find to be a necessity in any studio?

I have plenty of plugins including the UAD-1 card. I'm not familiar with what to look for in outboard gear so is there anything you guys like?

I use cakewalk homestudio with an audigy sbl 2, though that is kind of sad in itself I would like to know any of the advantages or dissadvantages of using this program?... ooooo here is another question. will cakewalk work with a multi input sound card e.i. the m-audio 10 input card? I mean will it split each track into individual tracks in cakewalk, so I can mix them individually.

What's a good level for mixing that will not hurt my ears, but will not cause me to make the bass too loud? I'm making bass-heavy electronic music, but I want it to sound nice and crisp in the mid-highs.

How do the included effects plugins in these two apps compare?

I need the best quality for the money.

Pro Tools has the BombFactory stuff and a Moogerfooger analog delay.

Sonar has a Lexicon Pantheon Reverb and the Sonitus Effects Suite and some other stuff..

How do these compare?

there is a tool in digital performer where you can Ctrl click a soundbite in the seqencer window and throw it. it will automatically stop at the next soundbite it hits.
is there such a tool in Pro Tools le (os 9)?
or is there another way to make one soundbite begin exactly where the next ends.
