Does anyone know the dimensions of the 32 channel board ? I was not able to find any information anywhere. I know it's big but that's about it.

New to the world of recording, I'm learning more and more each day about options, alternatives, various types of equipment, brands, etc. Just this morning while drooling over the Mackie Controller home page, I noticed SAW Studio support. What is SAW Studio? So I checked out the web site, watched some of their videos, and overall I was pretty impressed. Unfortunately, it is quite pricey.

Some time ago, I read, somewhere, about an EQ plugin . With that plugin , you can load a song and "copy" its EQ settings to your own song, so that you don't need to do it manually. Do you know about a plugin (or software) that could do this? I'm using Cubase SX 1.0.51 for Mac.

ok, i hate to ask such a question, but i've got some plugins froma friend, and i got the vst-au converter. i've ran it and logic doesn't see them. does anyone know the proper procedure of enabling a new plugin in logic pro 6?

My question is two part.

I'm in a bind, and figure there's some smarties on here who have recording experience and can perhaps work me through this issue.

I JUST GOT A JOE MEEK VC3, AND WHENEVER I TURN ON THE PHANTOM POWER, I GET A LOT OF HUM AND HISS. IS THIS DUE TO THE CRAPPY WAL-WART POWER SUPPLY THAT CAME WITH IT? I HEARD THAT SOMEONE WAS EXPERIENCING THE SAME CONFLICT AND THEY PURCHASED A ROLLS PS-12 POWER SUPPLY AND IT MADE THE SIGNAL MORE QUIETER. PLEASE HELP, THANKS.

I'm new to the a/d conversion table. I see that the Rosetta clearly has 8 channel capability while the ad16x has 16, although the prices seem all too similar to just be 'another 8 channels for the ad16x'. I'm not sure, other than the 8 channels, what the difference is between the Rosetta800 and the AD16x? They both appear to be A/D converters w/ the great Apogeeword clock technology.
