allright i got my 1st real musician who is gonna record with me. and he wants a simple complete demo at the end. he does all acoustic music, but wants to through in a lot of other instuments to. so this will take time. last night we layed down 6 acoustic vocal/guitar songs. which was great, and it sounds awesome. just for somewhere to work off of.

I bought a Pro Tools system (digi 001) about 6 months ago, and now they come out with the IK Multimedia plugin pack included with all Pro Tools systems. Does anyone know if they are giving this out to people who bought their Pro Tools system before august 1st?

Watts up pro audio quoted me at almost $1800 for the thorax. I thought Sebatron was supposed to be quality gear that simple home studio owners could afford. This price is closer to all the other channel strips out there. ie. Avalon, Universal Audio, Focusrite etc. What makes this as good or better than the rest.

I notice a loss of Vocal volume & Bass is muttled after exporting multitrack to stereo using sonar2.

The sound of the tracks are perfect in the room, but when the tracks are exported to stereosome key vocal & bass quality is lost.

We are recording rehearsals(1 to 2 hours at a time)so the size of the project is fairly big. Does this impact the export function?

About 9 months ago some of you on this board helped me make "Sonar--Swift & Deep", my screen video tutorial, a success by providing useful advice when I was creating it. Now I'm nearing the release of its successor, "Sonar 3--Know It All !", and I'm again asking for advice. This time I'm including a "What's New" and an "Advanced Topics" section.

I have been using Sonar XL 2.0 for a year or so and for PC recording I love it. I was wondering if anyone has used or is familiar with the new version? Or any other opinions about this subject?

Did anyone hear about this? Amplitube LE, Reason adapted, and some other plugins from IK are going to be bundled for free with every PT system. I just bought an 001 like 6 months ago and I'm very upset that I don't have the option to get these. Thoughts?
