Does anyone use a MOTU 1296 ? How does it sound? Did you compare it with other interfaces? I am planning to upgrade to 24/96 and I need to choose between the 1296, the 896, the RME
and the Delta 1010. Please give me some feedback! What do you think? Whichone sounds best in your opinion?

I know I have been gone for a while, just got back the other day(had to put in some overtime to work up that $24).
Anyway, I have been to the Sonar and Cubase forums, and noone has answered my posts in four days. Maybe I am spoiled by Opus in the computing forum, but that seems a bit long to me.
So here is my question.

For me the answer is no.

I hope this site survives...I like it better than the other ones I visit. It seems less bent on arguing over the rather myopic debate between using one particular product over analog, etc.

I like the general level of questions, and even just the layout.

I suppose I get work as one studio that IS open and is friendly (rate wise) to my long time engineer chums...

Those that earn fully or supliment their income with studio / engineer / producer services... how's it going?

AND while you are at it ask her if,

Pro Tools LE 2
will be on the same hardware,
will it be compatible with HD,
will it have 32 tracks,
will it be compatible with the old plugs?

That should get some tounges wagging. :p

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of Logic Audio. I have already downloaded and tried Cubase and Sonar, it would only make sense that Emagic would offer the same thing.
