I just got a card from Steinberg that lists a bunch of dates to see the new Cubase SX as a preview at Guitar Center. The tour will be in Indianapolis on May 7th. If you have a GC in your area, and did not get a card, let me know, and I will tell you when (and if) the tour comes to your local GC.

I've been trying to find a cheap way to lower the volume of my 100 watt marshall amps(with 4x12 cabs) when cranked up to 10(JCM800s seem to be WAY louder than normal 100watt amps). there are a lot of level reduction boxes that go between the amp and the cab, but are known for lowering the sound quality too.

What formats do you guys mixdown to and why?
Is it DAT or CDR or tape or. .
Does anyone use an internal mixdown option i.e. audio export,if so what is the best dithering software?

Has anyone checked this out yet? I need a A/d converter for my digi 001 I also need a decent mic preamp. How is this compared to the rosetta.?

i have a Q10 and i'm getting clips without switching on the mic preamp's and turning the gain all the way down? any suggestions? are you using a board before your interface? can i fix this without using anything before the interface...or do i have to buy some outboard mic preamp's?
