I feel like I've got a handle on it and it's 90% done, but if you hear any horrible glaring error please point it out. I want the acoustic a little higher before the bridge, and maybe soften the HF edge just a little. Panning is still LCR, but I'm sure that will change before I'm done.

Hi guys, I'm looking for a plugin to use as an instrument tuning effect that displays the fundamental frequency for the note/pitch your playing at. Now this effect would use that number to control a volume knob that will turn the volume of the audio up and down in real time with the changes in the fundamental frequency.

I found this video interesting, as it's a problem that I think all engineers can run into from time to time.

I'm pretty much in agreement with Dan Thompson's ( no relation, LOL) remarks on the video below.

Personally, I use them more for analytical referencing; checking for too much effect on certain tracks, panning, space and separation, listening for things like a short/cut fade, clicks or pops, etc.
