Here is the first of 4 for a client's EP, who seems to tap into Beach Boys, Jimmy Buffet, Alan Parson's Project for influences. Unfortunately, the band did not record using a click, so there is some disjointed syncopation of playing, but this is just a demo. Please let me have feedback on this mix.

Not sure how to classify this song. Has a dark ambient feel before turning hard rock. How is the mix sounding so far guys?

I've had an M-Audio Delta 66 w/ Omni IO breakout box for around 10 years.
The Omni IO went crap, a couple weeks ago, and I just replaced it with a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14.
I did some recording (AudioTechnica AT4033SE), on the new Saffire, and I had to crank the pre-amp up a lot higher than I did on the Omni.
