Hi Guys -- New member here. Relatively new to recording. Here's the latest mix of a project I've been working on and I'd love some feedback. It's a cover version of "This Life" the theme from the Sons of Anarchy theme show. It's a re-envisioning of the theme in a Northern Californian Acid Rock style. Here's the link:

A nice channel strip plug from Eventide - EQ, Gate, Compression, De-esser, Stereo Delay, micro pitch tune. I've had a chance to play with it a little. Nice function, decent GUI, does what it claims.

Free. No conditions. No demo limits, fully functional, but only available till July 1, after which the price is $249.

Affordable recording has created severe dilutions of grandeur along with a bunch of pussies that will never put their work on the chopping block, GS is a great example.
RO is better than this.

So here goes guys I have never had any of my ideas heard like this on a public forum by fellow musicians so go easy k lol. This is a tune I made BUT I have done nothing with it in terms of mixing or mastering, freq cutting...the only thing done here is gain staging the tracks to about -23 DB.

Got the Fabfilter 30 day try and like it but noticed something weird today and not sure why due to limited production experience.

Bass is like love. Some like-em full figured, some like-em slI'm and bossy. Some like-em noticed but covered up just enough to leave it to our imagination.
