The last few hours of a mix
Forums
This is a spin-off thread from Mixing Grunge in the 21st Century, I didn't want to hijack the OP's original thread regarding critique for his song. We were starting to move into other areas, so I decided to continue the discussion here. I've started out by replying to the last post by audiokid, where he is discussing the final stages of a mix.

Mixing Grunge

Ok so here's a band I recorded. Let me know what you think, is it radio ready? Have I gone too far with the loudness wars? Will I get women recording this way? Any input is appreciated.

The Last Great British Console
Forums
"This desk was originally designed around the ISA 110 Preamp and the ISA 130 EQ, which were built by Rupert Neve exclusively for George Martin. It really is the last great British Console, there's been nothing since that could touch it."

Classic Recording Gear and Methods
Forums
Chris's thread on Mojave mics - and especially his link to a youtube video of a jazz trio recording with these mics - sparked an idea in me, and that was to research the classic recorded jazz era - from around 1956 - 1965.
Popular jazz artists during this era were people like Dave Brubeck, Vince Guaraldi, Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, John Coltrane, etc.

Pro Tools10/11 preused Activation question
Forums
Hi Everybody,
I recently bought an already used PT10/11 bundle from a private seller.
All went smooth, means the license is on my ilok Account and dongle too.
I received the already used Activation Code. This of course as i know now cannot be used twice!
So whats the best way to download and activate this?
