ok, i recently came into some money and as a longtime musician i decided to buy some good quality recording equipment. in all honesty, i dont know that much about mics, equipment, etc. other then just being in recording studios recording with my various bands over the years.

So heres the deal. I use Cubase Studio 4 for most of my recording as far as bands and live instruments. As far as midi instruments, making beats and making whole songs with virtual instruments, I've tried Reason and have an unregistered full version of Fruity Loops.

Hey everyone, in recording vocals for my more previous songs, I always had the problem where they sounded very far off and didn't sit in the mix. I think I have corrected this problem!

My question is, is it cheating when you edit vocals with various filters? I have been trying to keep it simple and add the things that you would get with a proper recording setting.

I got two Daws a DIGI 002 rack based and the other with the a 001, how is the most efective way to sync both system (002 machine as Master and the 001 as slave..the idea is to get 64tracks system with the two system, i've to get the dvtoolkit but is only more chanells not more power processing,..if any one could help..thanks... I bought a used Digi 002R on ebay. When I plugin the Digi 002R into my Mac mini, the 002R is not recognized when starting the Pro Tools LE 6.9.3 application. The hard dive that is plugged into the back of the 002R is also not being recognized on the Mac Mini, not even in Disk Utility.

I own a PreSonus Firepod :D and want to synchronize usin word clock through S/PDIF conections, but I dont know what I need to buy so that I can have S/PDIF in & out on the computer :?, the less I spend is better :!: becouse I only need S/PDIF for word clock couse in the firepod I already have ADC.
