i would like to ask what do u guys think of a signal pass through a graphic equalizer go to the input of the mixing console but not passing through the EQ send by aux and return during recording?
i hope everyone know what i'm talking about because my english isn't gd enough

What are your views on them ?

Everytime when I run more than 5 instruments in Live 6 with my Macbook, it delay and display 100% usage of the CPU power. So frustrated!
Is Macbook powerful enough for recording. Will adding more ram helps? Thanks!

has anyone here done this before? essentially have the normal L+R mix, but also have a L+R in the rear. (of course subwoofers where appropriate too)

I imagine the easiest way to do this would be with a mixer with 4+ submix outputs -- one for each corner / speaker -- and route each channel where it should sit.

I have music I sell as a complete arrangement- a song- and also loops and beats.

i need some help to find a decent audio interface that does not or have little compatibility issues i am gonna use a lot of heavy vst's like from spectrasonics, native instrumetns drum sequencers like bfd or toontrack.

I am looking into some new mastering speakers. I went to a couple of shops to hear the new B&W 802Ds but neither shop had them hooked up so I have been invited to go back when they are hooked up. I am also looking at the ATCs and the PMCs. We currently have ALON I vs with a Bryston 4B amplifier and a Benchmark DAC-1 head end.
