I'm just finishing a track for a show - Carpenters - Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft, and have a new respect for Richard Carpenter's orchestrations - as in it's taken me three days so far, two bars at a time to pull out what each instrument and voice is actually playing - but that bits done.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about the Orban Parametric Eq model 622B ?
I have come across one which has come out of a broadcast facility in Oz. I really don't know much about these units.

With the age I'd expect it would require recapping, but I'm keen to know if anyone is familiar with or has used one in their travels and if its worth taking a look at.

Hello, I've recently purchased some cheap budget recording equipment just to lay down some demos and what not. I have the Lexicon Alpha, Cubase LE5 that came with it, and a dynamic mic. I plug the Lexicon in and turn up the line 2/mic channel, I hear a faint high pitch ring. I plugin the XLR for the mic into that channel and it gets worse.

Anyone signed up with Amazon.com's Advantage program for hard copy media distribution? I am officially done with these clowns. I just got an email yesterday stating that they have imposed a brand new $99 annual fee IN ADDITION the the 55% that they take, which can sometimes increase. So if you're owed $100 for CD sales for the year, Amazon will pay you $1. LOL! So what's the point?

I'm trying to put my surround and surround back speakers as well as surround and back surround speaker out's from a 7.1 amp on a TRS patchbay.

I posted in the forum before and received very helpful information so I'm going to give it another go. I have an audio rack with a mixer and other gear. My powerhead is a Peavey DPC-1000. I have a set of 3 way stereo speakers, like the kind that you would hook up to your stereo receiver for home theater. The speakers have the terminals for speaker wire connection.
