Who's used the Digi EQ3? I installed it but my external hard drive is out on loan at the moment so I can't try it out. I must say it sure looks sexier than EQ2. I'll post again when I get my drive back.

How can I get rid of the distortion on the opening bars of this track.
The track has not been eq'ed and I want to,if possible, preserve the existing tone, whilst removing the crackle. The track barely peaks at -6 on the meters, so I dont believe its clipping. I hope I have provided enough info and would greatly appreciate any help wth this.

Hey guys, starting to play bass live again and i'm considering doing some downsizing/upgrading. My rig sounds good but is huge (taller than I am). I was considering a Eden 2-10" Metro Combo and adding my 1-15" Eden for more volume. Any ideas on how versitle/loud this would be? Also Mesa Boogie and Aguilar make some nice looking cabs.

In the thread "Pro Tools & reasons I hate Digidesign," Kurt mentioned that there is a way to record up to 18 tracks using Digidesign LE 002. Is this possible? There are only 8 in's, how can you get up to 18? Or am I mistaken?

I just have a quick question about A&R reps. I know what an A&R rep is (mostly...I think), but I want to know how one becomes an A&R rep. What kind of schooling do these people have? Is it just a business degree, a music business degree, something else entirely?
