This topic may have been brought up before, but I'm looking for any information you can share with me regarding the points structure for artists on a compilation CD. Specifically, a CD of 10-12 songs including maybe 5 different artists. What can you tell me about the individual artists' points, or what website/book can you direct me to. All inputs are sincerely appreciated.

Hello master of sounds. I have just been given access to a recording studio (sorry not sure what equement it has). Right to the point a band i kno what to record there frist album and since i have access they have asked me to record them and i need help. In mosty cases, i suffer from electrical guitar emating a buzz when plugged in, more so with distortion. While asking the guitarist to turn around and turning off my CRT's does help to a degree, very often the buzz is still dominant.

Just saw this product on soundroom. If it works i cud throw it into my do buy list.

Is Belden good enough for home-studio? If so, which model could be great? What would be the other alternatives?

Im after some hammond sounds as well as piano and string sounds. Now is there a good plugin package that has these in them?

If not what are some good programs that i can use for this kind of stuff?
