I'd like to hear some opinons from owners of both the imac G5 (or any G4 or G5 owner) and PC's. What would better suit the following purposes: film scoring, Reason 2.5, recording/sequencing (cubase/protools). Thank you.

I am about to be played on some radio stations, right now most are nonprofit college stations, but hopefully make it to mainstream as well. Could you tell me how I can track my radio spins? Do I have to register with something? also, when I get played on mainstream, how can I get paid royalties for plays?

Started setting things up for our project studio and when running the card through its paces, we found that if we recorded at the 96k sample rate things sounded like they were clipping. All of the sources were not, and when we lowered it down to 24/44.1 everything returned to normal.

I am a musician of about 25 yrs or so...give or take, but not playing pro at this time. I am new to digital recording...totally green, you might say. I have used various Tascam anolog machines over the years, but not anything on a computer before. I am looking for help with a couple of things. I just bought a new computer for the sole purpose of recording.

Hey gang, I recently bought a couple of drives to use in a firewire case I have, for the purpose of backing up mixes done in Sonar. After picking some brains at the Sonar forum, I went ahead and formatted the drives (60G Maxtor Diamond Plus 9) in NTFS from my DAW, running W2k Pro.

What's a good keyboard at a fairly reasonable price that fits the following description?

Primarily a Really good piano sound with really good weighted keys.

But will also do some other sounds - Hammond B3, Fender Rhodes, some synth sounds.

Is there any way to test the stability of a digital clock? I assume, simply because it sounds better and cost more, that the clock in my Finalizer is better than the clock in my MOTU 828. Will I get better sound out of the motu's converters by setting the finalizer as the master clock?

just wondering, I dont have any gear with AES/EBU and I havent really used that protocol much, is there a substantial difference in quality between AES/EBU and ADAT, I hear a lot of people saying pro's will not use ADAT, just after a bit of clarification.
