I use an Olympus LS-10 http://www.wingfiel… to record an Yamaha StagePas 300 output during our singing club sessions and I currently do this using the remote control and the Olympus twin microphones on the LS-10 unit itself but I am sure this isn't the best way.

I was read so many of the post here and in gearslutz also from "audiokid"
I like all post,You share so many good things from your big experience.
And now I want to ask some question to help me in my work.

So I just topped my credit card again, to buy a Mytek ADC 96
My plan is to connect my Focusrite ISA two to the Mytek, then the mytek to my Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 via spdif.
I also have a Octopre which is connected to the saffire 56 via ADAT.

I read the Mytek has a good clock so I want it as the master clock.

See, I'm trying to mix a song of mine here with audition, I only used an acoustic guitar and a condenser mic as well. But the thing is, my vocals really sounds crappy. And I really do want to learn the mixing stuffs and of course I've been playing around with ozone and other plugins. But I really don't know what the "hz" thing means i see on the compressor, eq, etc.

i did a google and came across some interesting stuff about the board, but no yay or nay on my question. i don't own the board so i have little time for experimentation, and as far as i've seen so far on the ipad control program, you can't adjust effects parameters.

I'm completely clueless when it comes to professional audio setup. I've been tasked to manage a small live show that involves some acoustic performance. So I started calling local audio rental places, then I ran into someone who is selling some church old audio equipment.

It includes a Mackie FR1400 AMP, and a Yamaha Mixing Console MG 10/2.

I'm trying to record on my PC.
