High pitch noise from guitar effect pedal board?
I'm getting a high pitch noise (attached) that has something to do with the pedals (also attached)
Noise only happens when going through .
No noise when plugging directly into mixer, or into Clarus, then Mixer.
Guitar --> pedals --> Acoustic Image Clarus --> A&H Mixer --> Peavey Power head

dbx 223xl flaking after 12 years, what crossover to get next?
Question at bottom.
Channel 1 on my 223xl dropped the lows, like engaging its Butterworth low cut. But it did it all on it's own and the low cut switch operates normally. When I pushed on the faceplate on ch1 side, the lows came back, until I let off. So odd.
Need help: new to production
Hey everyone, just joined this forum and I’m hoping I can get some tips, tricks, cardinal rules, advice etc. on how to get a mix with good volume without white noise.
I’m a good writer, average musician, but virtually inexperienced with studio recording. I know I could get some great stuff out there if I could just get decent mixes.

Audient id14 and id22 in 2019
I may have mentioned it before but after listening the Audient's, I'm pretty much sold on them. It's been almost 10 years since the eleven rack was out so I'm sure technology has got better. Audient id14 is about 4 years old?

Logic introduces voice commands!
This is very cool i think! Especially for small mix adjustments where you don't want to scroll across the entire screen, or mutes etc. Its literally like working with an assistant that doesn't require you to supply lunch.

The new Mac Pro
Ok,
so who is splashing their hard earned cash for one or more of those gorgeous new over priced Mac Pro models. I’ll be getting one after I sort out moving into my bigger house, yes again.
Personally I’m going to go standard other than 16 core CPU then do my own SSD and RAM upgrades third party. I mean to say, £360 for a 1tb SSD is taking the piss for starters!.

How to record a brass band in a church
I would like to record a local brass band in our village church . This building has some challenging acoustics .( reverb) What would be the best approach? Condenser mics, dynamic mics, ORTF, MS etc...I'm by far not an experienced soundguy but for me this is just a hobby.
The mics I have are:
