For some reason when I'm in fruity loops my microphone picks up buzzing sound and hissing noises.

Hey i am going to be setting up a website where people can upload their files, a nas drive, and have dropbox.

At some point the client files need to get over to the main workstation for mixing and editing.

So my isssue is, as far as i know, i cant just run a virus scan while the files are on dropbox, they have to be downloaded, then scanned.

Me: I'm running Logic Pro X, I've been using Garage band and I just upgraded. I have 2 issues out the gate that I cannot seem to get around. My Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 is reading my SM57 when it's plugged in but it's not outputting on Logic. I can see in my logic that it's picking up the signal and in the interface that it's picking up, but I cannot hear what's going in.

I can't wait to see performance benchmarks on this behemoth! 2.9 ghz base clock, 4.3 ghz boost (not sure if thats all core boost or not). This is an insane amount of power for a single socket desktop! Wow.

I have purchased the MXL 770 and connected it to my laptop with an usb-XLR cable like this one because my laptop doesnt has a microphone input : ( https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07WR14TYX/?tag=r06fa-20 )
And it don't seems to work neither on Fl Studio or Audacity.

I am considering getting an iPad mostly for recording guitar.

My question, for those who multitrack on their iPads, What should I place more importance on...
The more powerful iPad Air (64gb) or the storage space of the regular iPad (128gb) ?
(Air/256gb and the Pros are out of my price range).

Will I just keep filling up the storage on a 64GB ?

I use the Zoom H1 plugged into my Macbook with a USB cable and Quicktime to record.

Normally, it works perfectly and the quality is great.

But it happened a few times already, that the recording sounds horrible..
