i recently started a studio and i have a lot of passion for it but not too much knowledge yet.

How do dancehall artist get there voice so heavy and dark on there tracks.

It must be a plugin , because when u here them live. They sound heavy but not that low on tracks.

Can someone help me out?

Hey guys, Ive been having some problems with my sey up. I have my equipment set up as follows.

My snake inputs from the live room come into the patchbay(neutrik) TRS (which I changed from XLR) Then I patch it to my Mackie 24/8 then from the mixer's direct out go straight to the audio card.

I have a BR-600, and everything has been going great, except for one thing. I have been transferring my songs and tracks to the computer, but whenever I export, I can only do the song tracks(1v1, 2v1, etc) and there is no option for the drum pattern or rythym track. How do I get the the drum loop exported? Thank you!

Hi there. I’ve been reading/lurking in the forum for the past year or so, and have learned a TON over that time. Thanks to everyone for all the info.

I play guitar and sing, mostly as a hobby, but I do make a bit of money performing and streaming music online. I’ve bought some entry level gear over the past 2 years, and have also started recording using a DAW system.

I am having what sounds like latency issues when I use my UAD 1 card and TC elctronics power core (both pci e cards running on a G5 with 4.5 gigs ram and a glyph external hard drive-- I also have a glyph internal hard drive but I want to also mix on the external hard drive) during the mixing process any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Nothing fancy, just one that is compatible and stable.

The PC XP DAW is based on Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 and Intel DP35DP main board (P35).

i know you guys are probably sick to death of these kinds of questions but i'm torn between several choices when it comes to getting my home studio rolling. i've been considering a few different options. i want something portable so i can record bands at their practice spaces or do live shows and come home and mix.

I have tried all different types of connections and I get horrible noise when the laptop is plugged in. I have tried plugging up stuff all over the studio, putting them on power grids, and what not. Is there anyway to get around this problem. I figure the converter is creating some crazy feedback.
