I am new to recording. I recently bought a Steinberg UR22 as the interface with the bundled Cubase AI 6. I have a RODE NT1A, a SM-57 and a SM58.

Any VST's for Windows that align vocals/tracks?

Looking for the best bang for the buck vocal microphone under $250 street price for used ones tops. Prefer closer to $200.
This is all I can afford so please just give recommendations to what I am asking. I won't save up more, I already did so, my original budget was for $100 mic, but I saved up for a $200-250 one.

I am recording vocals on jurneys, outside of home, for several reasons, so I need it to record to portable device. I was using iPod, but it's terrible recorder.

Need some opinions from the pros. Just starting out and trying to decide where to put my mic. Have not tested my room yet to determine where to place. Very low budget so need a area that would work the cheapest. So should I use my small closet (smallest wall surface area to treat)? Or would I place in middle of room (fairly large room)? Or do I place mic in corner of room?

Hi. I'm on a project I need to complete soon, but in a location where I can't have a collaborator with a voice coarser than mine. But there's not much of a difference needed, so what's the best I can do to get a slightly coarser voice which isn't robotic? I have tried singing lower and deeper but not much joy.

Hello there! I hope this is the right place for this kind of job. I want to get a relatively clean track of the vocals from a song, i.e. no instruments. I have been trying to do this all night without much avail. I've been watching videos and tutorials, trying to find one a clean vocal track online, but I haven't been very successful.

I have a pretty simple set up at home. I use a Zoom H2 to record my wife's vocals, and I'm using Mixcraft as my DAW. I play an acoustic guitar. We have only one mic.
