Wondering if you guys have any preferences on this.
compression in dual mode or stereo [linked] mode.

when i recorded with xy pair, compressing slightly to tape [daw] in dual mode seemed ok dynamicaly.
I rerecorded using spaced pair as it sounded better frequency wise, but had strange image shifts.
Resorted to dual[linked] compression mode.

Maybe this topic has been beaten like the proverbial dead horse, but I'm a new kid on this particular block...so, I could really use some help.

I've read the posts from Doublehelix about possible acoustic treatments for his studio,and all the answers from those guys as Nightfly,Cedar Flat Fats(...).I've also read most of the links provided...

I have read several articles about treating the studio for proper acoustics, and it confuses the hell out of me. Just when I think I have a plan, I read another article that turns my brain to mush.

This pertains mostly to monitoring and mixing as opposed to tracking...

Anybody use acoustic mirror in nuendo?

If so, how do you peform the processing?

What version of windows, acoustic mirror, nuendo?

When I run it I turns my wave into silence or randoms spikes.

It works fine in sound forge though. I just like working in one app.

Pick noise is a problem that I have been dealing with off and on for a long time. I realize that some pick noise adds character and realism to the sound, but I am talking about *excessive* pick noise here.
