Do any of you have any experience with Alesis products? What kind of a reputation do they have? It seems that in my search for a basic, low-cost interface that supports 8 1/4" inputs (it's all Yamaha's fault), Alesis units are the only units offered that have that many 1/4" inputs at under $500.

Hi guys i just bought the Alesis multimix8 firewire of ebay and i need some help. when i use the bundled software (Cubase LE), i can not hear what i recorded and an error message pops up saying the asio drivers have not been found. Please help guys! :D

I am going to sell my Alesis IO26 and instead purchase a M-Audio board so that I can use Pro-tools. I purchased the Alesis IO26 unaware that I could not use it with my copy of Pro Tools...

Hello everyone. I have a computer recording setup with Nuendo and a Firepod. Also have a DM5 that I've been using with acoustic triggers. Up until now I've been recording from the audio outputs of the DM5 from my triggered 2 bass drums and snare.

So this is a whole new side of audio to me. I've been loaned a brand new Alesis pad from an endorsee who wants me to be his programmer, problem is I have never worked with midi on my own or anything like this in my life. Now I'm already failing at making this pad work with Ableton. The pad is plugged in and was installed successfully.
