okay..here's a question. in what year did tuning vocals become prominant? What artist use it and which don't?

also i was wondering if anyone knows a good place to get antares for cheap?

just want to know what people's thoughts are on this and its effectivness etc...

Hey guys, I was wondering about Antares Tube Preamp modeling. But I have no idea what a tube preamp is... I was very happy with Antares Microphone Modeling (which actually turns my 100 dollar Behringer B-1 into a Neumann U47).

So can someone please explain to me please in the simplest of ways what this Tube Pre-amp modeling will do to my vocals?

i'd like to tune some vocal tracks with antares auto tune in adobe audition. when i use the auto-tune function i can render the effect on the track, but when i use the graphical tuning it wouldn't work. while editing in antares auto tune i can hear the pitch changes, but when i want to render it onto the track nothing happens!

what can it be. hope somebody can help me!

I can't make up my mind as to what to get.
I want to improve my vocal recordings and am looking at one of the following 3 units:
- Focusrite Voice Master Pro
- Antares Vocal Producer 1
- TC Hellicon Voice Works

All have good and bad reviews.

Or I would just get a Behringer Tube Composer and incert that over my vocal channels?

i was looking into possible getting DP4.5 and i thought it included some plugs ie Ultra Focus because when you are on their site and you go into DP 4.5 it has a section called "Featured Plugins" which to me meant that DP 4.5 features these plugins...

Does anyone have a clip of a vocal track that is off key and another clip with the track pitch-corrected with Auto-Tune? I know this is asking a lot, but I have been debating getting Auto-Tune and if someone happened to have a couple tracks lying around, it would be really helpful to me(and I'm sure to others). Have you had experience with any of the hardware real time pitch correctors?

Antares ATR-1, TC Helicon Voice works or other?

Antares also makes the AVP-1 which has pitch correction among other things but I would guess since they are both current products and the AVP does more things that the pitch correction might not be as strong.

Any thoughts appreciated.
